Car
If you are driving from any location in the Battlefields region, head towards the N11 road. Follow the signs for the town of Dundee, which is about 30 km from Isandlwana. Once you reach Dundee, continue on the Nquthu Road (R33) for approximately 37 km. You will see signs for Isandlwana along the way. Turn right onto the R568, which will lead you directly to the Isandlwana area. The destination is located at the coordinates -28.3586, 30.6514, where you can find parking available near the site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus from Dundee to Nquthu. Buses depart regularly from the Dundee bus terminal. The journey to Nquthu takes around 45 minutes. Once in Nquthu, you can catch a taxi (minibus) that travels to Isandlwana. Be sure to confirm that the taxi is headed directly to Isandlwana, as some may have different routes. The taxi ride should take approximately 30 minutes, and fares can range from R30 to R50, depending on the number of passengers.
