Walking
If you are in downtown Beaufort, head towards Bay Street and walk along the waterfront. Follow Bay Street south until you reach the intersection with Bladen Street. Turn left onto Bladen Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Ribaut Road. Turn right onto Ribaut Road and walk towards the bridge. Cross the bridge, and once you reach the other side, continue straight onto US-278. After about 15 miles, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Hilton Head Island. When you see Coligny Circle, take the exit and follow the signs to Coligny Beach Park, which will be on your right.

Bicycle
For a scenic bike ride, start at the downtown Beaufort waterfront and head south along the Spanish Moss Trail. This trail runs parallel to Ribaut Road and offers beautiful views. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with US-278. From there, you can safely cross over to Hilton Head Island. Continue along US-278, and as you approach Coligny Circle, look for the entrance to Coligny Beach Park on your right.

To reach Coligny Beach Park using public transport, first make your way to the Beaufort Bus Station located at 1001 Boundary Street. From there, take the Lowcountry Regional Transit Authority bus that heads towards Hilton Head Island. Be sure to confirm the route with the bus driver. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Coligny Circle stop. From the bus stop, Coligny Beach Park will be a short walk away; just follow the signs toward the beach.
