Bicycle
Starting from downtown Beaufort, head south on Bay Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with Ribaut Road (SC-802). Turn left onto Ribaut Road and follow it, which will turn into Sea Island Parkway (SC-21). Keep going straight for about 13 miles until you reach the entrance of Hunting Island State Park. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the lighthouse within the park.

From downtown Beaufort, walk towards the Beaufort River and follow the waterfront until you reach the Marina. From the Marina, head south toward Ribaut Road. Once you reach Ribaut Road (SC-802), you would need to follow it to Sea Island Parkway (SC-21) and then continue for approximately 13 miles on foot, which may take several hours. It may be more advisable to rent a bike or use public transport for this leg of the journey.

From downtown Beaufort, take the local bus service provided by the Beaufort County Transit, which has routes that connect to St. Helena Island. You can ask the driver for the closest stop to Hunting Island State Park. Once you arrive at the park entrance, walk towards the lighthouse, following the signs.
