From any location in the Blue Ridge Mountains, head towards Walhalla, SC. If you are starting from the city of Asheville, NC, take US-64 E for approximately 40 miles until you reach SC-11 S. Continue on SC-11 S for about 25 miles until you reach Walhalla. Once in Walhalla, turn right onto Stumphouse Tunnel Rd. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles, and you will arrive at the Stumphouse Tunnel parking area. There is no cost for parking at the site.
