Car
If you are already in Caesars Head State Park, head out of the park entrance and turn left onto SC-11 N. Follow SC-11 N for about 8 miles until you reach US-64 E. Turn right onto US-64 E and continue for approximately 5 miles. Look for the signs leading to Gorges State Park and Turtleback Falls. The parking area for the falls is located at the Gorges State Park Visitor Center. Parking is typically free but check for any seasonal fees or requirements.

Hiking
From the Gorges State Park Visitor Center, park your vehicle and proceed to the Turtleback Falls trailhead. The trail is well-marked and begins by following the path near the visitor center. The hike to Turtleback Falls is about 1.5 miles one way. Expect some moderate elevation changes, so wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring plenty of water. The trail leads through beautiful wooded areas, and you will be rewarded with stunning views of the falls at the end.

Public transportation options to Caesars Head State Park are limited. If you're in a nearby city like Greenville, consider taking a taxi or rideshare service directly to the park entrance. Once in the park, you will need a vehicle to reach Turtleback Falls, as public transport does not extend into the park itself. Plan accordingly for transportation back to the city.
