From Charleston Waterfront Park, head east towards East Bay Street. You'll want to exit the park and walk towards the intersection of East Bay Street and South Market Street. Once you reach East Bay Street, turn left. Continue walking on East Bay Street for about 0.3 miles (approximately 6-7 minutes on foot). The United States Custom House will be located on your right at 200 E Bay St.

If you prefer to bike, there are bike rental stations near Charleston Waterfront Park. Rent a bike and head towards East Bay Street. Follow the same route as walking: ride east along East Bay Street for about 0.3 miles. The United States Custom House will be on your right at 200 E Bay St. Remember to return your bike to a designated station near the Custom House.

Public Transportation (Bus)
You can take the DASH (Downtown Area Shuttle) bus if you're near a bus stop. Board the DASH Blue Line heading towards the Visitor Center. Get off at the 'East Bay & Market' stop, which is about a 5-minute walk from the United States Custom House. From the bus stop, walk south on East Bay Street for about 0.2 miles, and the Custom House will be on your left at 200 E Bay St. Note that the DASH service is free.
