Car
If you're driving from any location in Folly Beach, head northwest on Folly Rd (SC-171) toward the James Island Connector. Follow Folly Rd for about 8 miles until you reach the connector. Merge onto the James Island Connector and continue for about 3 miles. Take the exit toward Downtown Charleston and merge onto US-17 N. Continue on US-17 N for about 2 miles, then take the exit toward Meeting St. Continue straight onto Meeting St. Turn left onto Vendue Range. Joe Riley Waterfront Park will be on your right. There is street parking available, but it may require payment, depending on the time of day.

Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take the CARTA bus line 30 from Folly Beach. Board the bus at the Folly Beach Terminal and ride until you reach the Charleston Visitor Center. This trip takes about 30 minutes. From the Charleston Visitor Center, you can either walk or take a taxi to Joe Riley Waterfront Park. To walk, head northwest on Meeting St for about 0.5 miles until you reach Vendue Range and then turn right. The park will be on your right. If you choose to take a taxi, the fare should be around $10-$15.
