If you are starting from the historic Charleston City Market, exit the market and turn left onto Meeting Street. Walk south for about 0.5 miles. You will pass a few shops and restaurants along the way. Continue straight until you reach 16 Meeting St. The Williams Mansion will be on your right.

From the Charleston Visitor Center, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the CARTA bus route 10 (or any route that goes towards the South of Broad area). Get off at the bus stop near Broad Street and Meeting Street. From there, walk south on Meeting Street for about 0.2 miles until you reach 16 Meeting St. The Williams Mansion will be on your left.
