From Congaree National Park, exit the park and head north on SC-48 N / Old Dunbar Rd. Continue for approximately 4.5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-321 N. Turn right onto US-321 N and follow it for about 15 miles. Then, take the exit for SC-34 W toward Winnsboro. Continue on SC-34 W for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with State Park Rd. Turn left onto State Park Rd and follow it for approximately 3 miles. Lake Wateree State Park will be on your left at 881 State Park Rd, Winnsboro, SC 29180. Note: There may be a parking fee at the park entrance.
