Bus
From downtown Greer, head to the nearest bus stop located at the intersection of Poinsett Street and Victoria Street. Take the 507 bus towards Greenville. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop for Paris Mountain State Park. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the Brissy Ridge Trailhead. Follow the park entrance signs and head along the main path until you see the trailhead on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Greer. Start from downtown Greer and head north on Poinsett Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Wade Hampton Blvd. Turn left and follow the road for about 2 miles. Keep an eye out for the entrance to Paris Mountain State Park on your right. Once inside the park, follow the signs to the Brissy Ridge Trailhead, which is about a mile from the park entrance.
Walking
For those who wish to walk, start at the Greer City Park located in downtown Greer. Head northeast on E Poinsett Street towards E Church Street and continue walking for about 2 miles. After crossing over Wade Hampton Blvd, you will see the entrance to Paris Mountain State Park on your right. Once inside the park, follow the signs that will lead you to the Brissy Ridge Trailhead, which is a short walk from the entrance.
