Bicycle
If you are staying in Hilton Head Island, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start at the popular Coligny Beach Park and head west on Pope Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the William Hilton Parkway (US-278). Turn right onto US-278 and ride until you reach the bridge leading to the mainland, which will take you towards Savannah. Follow the bike path alongside the road until you reach the intersection with Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Turn left, and you will see Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center on your right at 340 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Suite A.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center by public transportation, start by locating the nearest bus stop in Hilton Head Island. Take the Lowcountry Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) Route 1 towards Savannah. The bus will take you across the bridge to the mainland. Get off at the stop closest to Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles west on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. The Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center will be located at 340 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Suite A on your left.

Walking
If you are within walking distance in Hilton Head Island, start at the nearby Coligny Plaza. Walk north on Ocean Boulevard until you reach the intersection with Pope Avenue. Take a right on Pope Avenue and continue straight until you reach US-278. Carefully cross the highway and continue straight onto Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Walk about 1.5 miles, and you will find the Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center at 340 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Suite A on your right.
