    If you're starting from the Harbour Town area, head east on Lighthouse Road until you reach the intersection with Sea Pines Drive. Take a left onto Sea Pines Drive and continue straight until you reach the Sea Pines Circle. From there, take the exit onto Greenwood Drive, which will lead you out of Sea Pines. Continue on Greenwood Drive until you reach the intersection with William Hilton Parkway (US 278). Turn right onto US 278 and follow the signs towards Savannah. After approximately 15 miles, you will enter Savannah. Continue on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, and the William Scarbrough House will be on your right at 41 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.

    From your accommodation in Hilton Head Island, make your way to the nearest bus stop for the Palmetto Breeze transit system. Board the 10 or 12 route bus heading towards Bluffton. After approximately 30 minutes, you will transfer at the Bluffton stop to a bus heading to Savannah. Stay on this bus for about 45 minutes until you reach Savannah's downtown area. Once you arrive, walk east on Bay Street and then turn left onto Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. The William Scarbrough House is located at 41 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, a short walk from the bus stop.

    If you're close to the beach area near Coligny Circle, start by walking south on Pope Avenue until you reach the intersection with South Forest Beach Drive. Turn right and follow this road until you see the Coligny Beach Park entrance. From there, continue walking along the beach path until you reach the end of the beach. From there, follow the signage to get back to Pope Avenue and then take a right onto US 278. Walk along the side of the road for about 15 miles, heading towards Savannah. Continue straight until you reach Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, where the William Scarbrough House is located at 41 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd on your left.
