Bicycle
From your location in Hilton Head Island, head to the nearest bike rental shop to get a bicycle. Once you have your bike, take the main road towards the Hilton Head Island Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto US-278 E. Follow the signs towards Savannah, GA. After approximately 30 miles, take the exit towards Abercorn St. Merge onto Abercorn St and continue to follow it for about 5 miles. Turn left onto E 37th St, followed by a right onto Barnard St. Telfair Square will be on your left at 121 Barnard St.

Public Transit
Start by walking to the nearest bus stop on Hilton Head Island. Take the Palmetto Breeze Transit bus towards Savannah. The route will take you across the Hilton Head Island Bridge and into Savannah. After approximately 45 minutes to an hour, get off at the nearest stop to downtown Savannah. From there, walk north on Abercorn St and take a left onto E 37th St. After a short walk, turn right onto Barnard St, and Telfair Square will be located at 121 Barnard St.

If you are staying close to the beach area of Hilton Head Island, take a leisurely walk towards the beach access point. From the beach, head towards the main road and find a nearby bus stop. Board the Palmetto Breeze Transit bus heading to Savannah. Once you arrive in Savannah, follow the instructions for public transit to reach Telfair Square, located at 121 Barnard St. Alternatively, you can enjoy a long day walking through the scenic pathway along the waterfront, which leads towards the main streets of Savannah.
