  If you are traveling by car from Kiawah Island, start by exiting the island via Kiawah Island Parkway. Follow the signs to US-17 N. Merge onto US-17 N and continue for approximately 9 miles. Take the exit for SC-700 E/Causeway Rd towards Johns Island. After about 5 miles, turn left onto Angel Oak Rd. The Angel Oak Tree will be on your left at 3688 Angel Oak Rd, Johns Island, SC 29455. There is free parking available on-site.

  If you prefer to use public transportation, note that there are limited options directly from Kiawah Island to the Angel Oak Tree. You can take a taxi or rideshare service from Kiawah Island to the Angel Oak Tree. The estimated cost for this ride is around $25 to $40 depending on traffic and the time of day.
