Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at Northwoods Mall. Once you disembark, transfer to the CARTA route 11 towards the South Carolina State Museum and get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Dorchester Road and Ashley Phosphate Road. From there, you can call for a local taxi or rideshare service to take you directly to Palmetto Fossil Excursions, which is located at approximately 32.8422003 latitude and -80.0234619 longitude.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Summerville. Start at the Summerville Town Square and head southeast on Main Street. Continue onto Central Avenue and follow it until you reach the intersection with Dorchester Road. Turn left onto Dorchester Road and bike for about 4 miles. You should reach your destination at Palmetto Fossil Excursions on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules.
