Getting There

• Bus

  From downtown Mount Pleasant, head to the nearest bus stop at the corner of E Broadway St and S Main St. Take the 'Ravenel Express' bus, which runs every hour. Disembark at the Ravenel Park stop, which is approximately 30 minutes away. From the bus stop, walk south on Savannah Hwy for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Caw Caw Interpretive Center on your left.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Mount Pleasant downtown area and take E Broadway St heading east. Turn onto the pedestrian path that will lead you toward the nature trails heading south. Follow the bike-friendly routes along the local roads toward Savannah Hwy. Continue cycling south for about 4 miles until you reach the Caw Caw Interpretive Center. Be sure to use bike lanes where available and follow local cycling regulations.

• Walking

  From the center of Mount Pleasant, walk south on S Main St until you reach E Broadway St. Turn left onto E Broadway St and proceed to Savannah Hwy. Cross Savannah Hwy at the designated crosswalk and continue walking south for approximately 1.5 miles along Savannah Hwy. Caw Caw Interpretive Center will be on your left side. The total walk will take about 40-50 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.

• Rideshare

  Use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft. Enter 'Caw Caw Interpretive Center, 5200 Savannah Hwy, Ravenel, SC 29470' as your destination. The app will provide you with an estimated time of arrival and will direct you to the nearest pickup location in Mount Pleasant. This is the quickest and most convenient option, especially if you are traveling in a group.
