Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Lake Jocassee. Head southeast on SC-11 S (often called the Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway). After approximately 5 miles, turn left onto the road that leads to Devils Fork State Park. Follow the signs for Devils Fork State Park, which will take you to the park's entrance. There is an entrance fee of around $5 per vehicle. Once inside the park, continue straight until you reach the parking area. The Wall is located on the lake, so be prepared for a short hike or walk to the shoreline.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options may be limited in this rural area. However, you can check for local shuttle services or rideshare apps like Uber or Lyft, which could take you from a nearby town such as Walhalla or Seneca to Devils Fork State Park. Once at the park, you will need to walk to the lake to reach The Wall. Again, be aware of the entrance fee of around $5 per vehicle, which applies to any rideshare services as well.

• Hiking

  If you are already in the vicinity and prefer hiking, there are trails within Devils Fork State Park that can lead you to The Wall. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry sufficient water. The trails are well-marked, and park staff can provide you with a map upon entry. The hike to the lakefront may take about 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
