Getting There

  • Car

    From Caesars Head State Park, exit the park and head southeast on State Park Road. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach SC-11. Turn right onto SC-11 and follow it for approximately 5 miles. Look for E Preston McDaniel Rd on your left. Turn left onto E Preston McDaniel Rd, and continue for about 1 mile. The entrance to Nine Times Preserve will be on your left. Parking is available on-site.

    If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Caesars Head to Pickens. Check local transit schedules for specific routes and times. Once you arrive in Pickens, you may need to use a rideshare service or taxi to cover the remaining distance. From the bus stop in Pickens, request a rideshare to E Preston McDaniel Rd, which is approximately 7 miles away. The driver will take you directly to the Nine Times Preserve entrance.
