If you are driving, head to 8301 Parklane Rd, Columbia, SC 29223. From downtown Midlands, get on US-76 E from Main St. Continue on US-76 E for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with I-20. Take I-20 E towards Florence and exit at exit 74A for US-1 N. Merge onto US-1 N and then take the exit toward Parklane Rd. Continue on Parklane Rd for about 1 mile, and the South Carolina Department of Archives and History will be on your right. Make sure to check for parking availability on-site.
