Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in central Myrtle Beach, start at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Head north along the boardwalk until you reach the end where it meets Ocean Boulevard. Turn left onto Ocean Boulevard and walk north. Continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach 21st Avenue North. At 21st Avenue North, turn right and walk towards the intersection with SC-65. Once you reach SC-65, turn left and continue walking for another mile. The Historic marker will be on your right along SC-65 in North Myrtle Beach.

  • Biking

    Start your journey at the Myrtle Beach Bike Path located near the Boardwalk. Head north on the bike path. You will follow the path for about 1.5 miles. When you reach 21st Avenue North, exit the bike path and turn right. Continue on 21st Avenue North until you hit SC-65. At SC-65, turn left and bike for approximately one mile. The Historic marker will be on your right-hand side.

  • Public Transport

    From the center of Myrtle Beach, locate the nearest bus stop for the Coast RTA. Board the bus heading north on Route 15 (North Myrtle Beach). Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at SC-65. Disembark the bus and walk about 200 yards to the Historic marker, which will be on your right.
