Springmaid Pier: A Coastal Gem in Myrtle Beach

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central Myrtle Beach area, start by heading south on Ocean Boulevard (US-17). You will want to walk along the beachside boardwalk or the sidewalk along Ocean Boulevard. Continue walking south for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 32nd Avenue South. At this point, you should see signage for Springmaid Pier. Follow the signs to the entrance of the pier, which is located at 3200 S Ocean Blvd.

• Biking

  Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops, which can be found throughout Myrtle Beach. Once you have your bike, head south on Ocean Boulevard. Follow the bike lanes along the road or the beach path. Continue biking for about 1.5 miles until you reach 32nd Avenue South. Look for the entrance to Springmaid Pier at 3200 S Ocean Blvd. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.

• Public Transportation

  Check the local bus schedule for the Coast RTA service. You will want to catch the Route 15 'Myrtle Beach' bus, which operates throughout the area. Board the bus and request a stop near 32nd Avenue South. Once you disembark, walk south on Ocean Boulevard for about a block until you reach Springmaid Pier at 3200 S Ocean Blvd. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on stops.
