From the center of North Charleston, make your way to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the CARTA bus #10 towards 'Wadmalaw Island.' The bus will take you along Maybank Highway. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the stop closest to '6617 Maybank Hwy.' The Charleston Tea Garden will be within walking distance from the bus stop. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the garden, which is located just south of the stop.
Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in North Charleston. Head south towards Maybank Highway. Follow the bike lanes along the highway, and enjoy the scenic ride for about 8 miles. Keep an eye out for the Charleston Tea Garden sign on your left as you approach 6617 Maybank Hwy. There are bike racks available at the garden for secure parking.
