Getting There

  • Walking from North Charleston

    Begin your journey at the North Charleston Coliseum, a prominent landmark in the area. Head south on Coliseum Drive until you reach the intersection with Montague Avenue. Turn left on Montague Avenue and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Rivers Avenue (US-52). Cross Rivers Avenue carefully and continue straight onto the sidewalk along Rivers Avenue. After about 1 mile, you will come to the intersection with I-26. Use the pedestrian overpass to safely cross the interstate. Once you are across, you will be on the Northside of the Ashley River. Continue walking along the riverfront until you reach the intersection of Lockwood Boulevard. Turn left onto Lockwood Boulevard. Follow Lockwood Boulevard as it curves and leads you into downtown Charleston. Continue on Lockwood Boulevard until you reach Broad Street. Turn right onto Broad Street and walk east towards the waterfront. As you approach the waterfront, you will see Murray Boulevard. Turn left onto Murray Boulevard, and White Point Garden will be located at 2 Murray Blvd, Charleston, SC 29401.

  • Bus from North Charleston

    Start your trip at the North Charleston Transit Center located at 3401 W Montague Ave. From there, take the CARTA bus line 10 (North Charleston to Downtown) towards the downtown area. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at King St & Broad St. After disembarking, head south on King Street until you reach Broad Street. Turn left on Broad Street and continue walking until you reach Murray Boulevard. Turn right on Murray Boulevard, and White Point Garden will be at 2 Murray Blvd, Charleston, SC 29401.

  • Biking from North Charleston

    If you prefer to bike, start at the North Charleston Coliseum. Head south on Coliseum Drive and then turn left onto Montague Avenue.
