Start from the North Charleston City Center and head south on Rivers Ave. Take a right onto Meeting St. and continue straight for about 5 miles. Follow Meeting St. until you reach Calhoun St. Turn left on Calhoun St. and then a right onto Church St. The Heyward-Washington House will be on your right at 87 Church St.

Head towards the West Virginia Ave and then continue onto Meeting St. Walk south for about 1.5 miles, which should take around 30 minutes.
