If you're driving from the center of Sandhills, head south on SC-21 towards Hilton Head Island. Continue on SC-21 for about 20 miles until you reach the intersection with US-278. Merge onto US-278 East and follow the signs for Hilton Head Island. After about 10 miles, take the exit toward Plantation Drive. Turn left onto Plantation Drive. The Stoney Baynard Ruins will be on your right after approximately 1 mile. There is no entry fee for visiting the ruins.
