After approximately 30 miles, take exit 248 for SD-34 toward Fort Pierre. Follow SD-34 for about 18 miles until you reach the intersection with US-83. Turn left onto US-83 S and continue for about 6 miles. Then, turn right onto Verendrye Dr. The Verendrye Monument will be on your right.
