If you are driving from Badlands National Park, start by heading south on SD-240. Continue on SD-240 until you reach the intersection with US-18. Turn right onto US-18 and follow it for approximately 22 miles. After this distance, you will enter the town of Pine Ridge. From Pine Ridge, turn left onto SD-27 and follow this road for about 11 miles until you reach the intersection with Wounded Knee Rd N. Turn right onto Wounded Knee Rd N, and you will arrive at the Wounded Knee National Historic Landmark.
