If you're driving to Valley Of The Giants Trail from anywhere within Big Sioux Recreation Area, start by getting on SD-11 N. Follow SD-11 N for approximately 4 miles until you reach the intersection with I-90. Merge onto I-90 W and continue for about 3 miles. Take exit 406 for SD-34 toward Brandon. After exiting, turn left onto SD-34 E and drive about 1 mile. Then turn right onto Unnamed Road (the trailhead will be on your right after approximately 0.5 miles). There is no cost for parking at the trailhead.
