From Big Sioux Recreation Area, exit the park and head west on SD-34 W. Continue for approximately 5 miles until you reach the junction with I-29. Merge onto I-29 S towards Sioux City and continue for about 15 miles. Take exit 1 for US-75 S toward Sioux City. Continue on US-75 S for about 8 miles. Take a left onto Adams Ave (County Road A26). Gitchie Manitou State Preserve will be on your right after about 2 miles, at the address 52141 Adams Ave, Larchwood, IA 51241.
