Walking
From the center of Custer, head west on Main Street towards the intersection with Hwy 16. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the highway. Turn left onto Hwy 16 and follow it for approximately 6 miles. You will see signs for Keystone. Once in Keystone, look for Maverick Trading Post on your right side, just off the main road.

If you have a bicycle, start from the Custer County Courthouse at 4th and Crook Street. Ride west on Crook Street until you reach Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue until you hit Hwy 16. Merge onto Hwy 16 and cycle for about 6 miles. You will arrive in Keystone, where Maverick Trading Post is located on the right side of the road.
