If you're in downtown Mitchell, start at the corner of Main Street and 1st Avenue. Head west on 1st Avenue for two blocks until you reach the intersection with West Havens Avenue. Turn left (south) onto West Havens Avenue. Continue walking for about six blocks until you reach the intersection with West University Avenue. Turn right (west) onto West University Avenue. The Dakota Discovery Museum will be on your left at 1200 W University Ave. It should take approximately 20-25 minutes to walk there.
