If you are starting from the center of Mitchell, walk south on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Havens Avenue. Turn left (east) onto Havens Avenue and continue walking for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with Indian Village Road. Turn right (south) onto Indian Village Road. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 miles. The Mitchell Site will be located on your left at 452-870 Indian Village Rd. Look for the entrance to the archaeological site.

From downtown Mitchell, head south on Main Street. After about 0.3 miles, turn left onto Havens Avenue. Follow Havens Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach Indian Village Road. Turn right onto Indian Village Road and bike south for about 1.5 miles. The Mitchell Site will be on your left at 452-870 Indian Village Rd. There may be bike racks available near the entrance.
