From Mount Rushmore, walk to the nearest bus stop located by the visitor center. Take the Rapid City public bus (Route 7) towards Rapid City. The bus will take you through scenic routes. Disembark at the stop near the intersection of 5th St and Main St in Rapid City. From there, walk two blocks east on 5th St and then turn left on 6th St. Continue walking for one more block, and you will reach Elks Theatre at 512 6th St.
Shuttle Service

If available, board the shuttle and inform the driver you want to visit Elks Theatre. The shuttle should drop you off close to the theater, typically on 6th St.
