Walking
From the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, exit the memorial area and head south on SD-244. You will pass the entrance to the memorial and continue walking along the road. After about 0.5 miles, you will see a sign for Keystone. Continue straight as the road leads you into the town of Keystone. Once you enter Keystone, look for 3rd Street; turn right onto 3rd Street. The Keystone Museum is located at 410 3rd St, on your left side. The museum is a short walk from the main road and is easily visible.
Public Transport (Bus Service)
If you prefer a bus, check for local shuttle services in the area that run between Mount Rushmore and Keystone. These services generally run frequently during tourist seasons. Once you board the bus towards Keystone, be sure to ask the driver to drop you off near the Keystone Museum, or look for the stop at 3rd Street. After disembarking, walk a short distance down 3rd Street to find the museum located at 410 3rd St.
