Cross the road carefully to the other side. After crossing, continue walking along US-16 for approximately 3 miles. You will know you are close when you see signs for Rapid City and Sugar Park. Keep an eye out for the park entrance on your right. The total walking distance is roughly 4.5 miles, which should take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.
