Getting There

    Starting from the South Dakota State Capitol in Pierre, head south on East Capitol Avenue towards South Dakota 34. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with South Dakota 34, which will be about 0.5 miles. Turn left onto South Dakota 34. Walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach the bridge over the Missouri River. Cross the bridge, and once you reach the opposite side, you will enter Fort Pierre. Continue walking straight for about 0.2 miles until you reach 2 Rivers Street. The Lewis & Clark Memorial will be located on your right.

    If you have access to a bike, start at the South Dakota State Capitol and head south on East Capitol Avenue. After approximately 0.5 miles, turn left onto South Dakota 34.
