The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. When you arrive at Yeongju Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and look for bus number 1 or 2, which will take you towards Buseok-myeon. Get off at the stop labeled 'Iljumun Gate' and follow the signs to the gate, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Andong. Simply tell the driver, 'Iljumun Gate in Yeongju' (you can show them the address: 264-2 Bukji-ri, Buseok-myeon, Yeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do). The ride will take approximately 40-50 minutes depending on traffic.

For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Andong. Head towards the Andong River and follow the bike path along the river, which will lead you out of the city towards Yeongju. This is a longer route and will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, but it offers beautiful views. Make sure to have a map or a GPS device to help guide you along the way, and look for signs directing you to Buseok-myeon. Once you reach Buseok-myeon, ask locals for directions to Iljumun Gate.
