Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Danyang-gun. Use a navigation app and enter 'Taehwasan, Danyang-gun' as your destination. From the center of Danyang, take Route 59 towards the east. Continue on Route 59 for about 15 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Taehwasan. There is a parking area near the base of the mountain, but be aware there may be a small parking fee (around 2,000 KRW).

Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Danyang Bus Terminal to the nearest stop to Taehwasan. Buses leaves regularly (approximately every 30 minutes), and the fare is around 1,500 KRW. Ask the driver to let you off at the 'Taehwasan' stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the base of the mountain. Follow the signs as you walk along the path leading up to the mountain.

Public Transportation - Train and Bus
For those coming from further away, take a train to Danyang Station. Upon arrival at Danyang Station, exit and head to the Danyang Bus Terminal, which is about a 10-minute walk. From the terminal, take the bus heading towards Taehwasan (about 1,500 KRW fare). Get off at the 'Taehwasan' stop, and walk about 1 kilometer to reach the base of the mountain.
