Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Gwangan Beach Park, you can enter the address '민락동 Suyeong-gu, Busan' into your GPS. From most areas in Busan Beaches, take the main road towards the coast. Follow the signs for Suyeong and Gwangalli Beach. There are several parking lots near the beach, but these can fill up quickly during peak times, so plan to arrive early. Expect parking fees to range from 1,000 to 2,000 KRW per hour.

• Public Transportation - Subway

  To reach Gwangan Beach Park via subway, take Line 2 (Green Line) and get off at Gwangan Station. Use Exit 3. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to the beach. Walk straight until you reach the main road, then turn left and continue walking until you see signs for Gwangan Beach Park. The subway fare is approximately 1,300 KRW for a single trip.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  You can also take a bus to reach Gwangan Beach Park. Look for Bus Number 31, 40, or 1003, which stop at Gwangan Beach. Once you board the bus, stay alert for announcements; the ride should take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. The bus fare is roughly 1,200 KRW. After you get off, you can follow the signs directing you to Gwangan Beach Park, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

• Walking

  If you're already near the beach area, simply walk towards the coastline. From Gwangalli Beach, you can stroll along the beach promenade, which will lead you directly to Gwangan Beach Park. This scenic walk takes about 20 minutes and offers stunning views of the ocean and the famous Gwangan Bridge.
