Getting There

  • Car

    From Busan Beaches, head east on the main coastal road towards the city center. Merge onto the Gyeongbu Expressway (Expressway 1) following signs for Daegu/Yangsan. Continue on the expressway for approximately 30 kilometers. Take exit 10 toward Yangsan and merge onto National Route 14. Follow the signs for Habuk-myeon. Once you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto Naewon-ro. Naewonsa will be located on your right at 207 Naewon-ro, Habuk-myeon, Yangsan-si. Parking is available on-site, but it may incur a small fee.

  • Public Transportation

    Start at Busan Station and take Line 1 (the orange line) towards Sinpyeong. Get off at Nopo Station. Transfer to Busan Metro Line 2 (the green line) and head towards Jangsan Station. Get off at Jangsan Station and exit the station. From there, catch bus number 101 or 102 towards Yangsan. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Naewonsa' bus stop. The temple is a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 500 meters northeast on Naewon-ro.
