Getting There

  • Subway

    Start your journey at Busan Station. Take Line 1 (the Orange Line) heading towards Sinpyeong. After about 3 stops, get off at Jagalchi Station. From Jagalchi Station, transfer to Line 2 (the Green Line) and head towards Jangsan. Get off at the next stop, Nampo Station. Exit the station and head towards the street called Gwangbok-ro. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Minjugongwon-gil. Turn left onto Minjugongwon-gil, and continue walking for about 10 minutes. Democracy Park will be on your right.

  • Bus

    If you are near the Busan International Ferry Terminal, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch Bus 7 or Bus 8. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop for Minjugongwon-gil. From there, walk along Minjugongwon-gil for about 5 minutes until you reach Democracy Park, which will be on your left.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the Nampo-dong area, you can easily walk to Democracy Park. Head east on Gwangbok-ro until you reach the intersection with Minjugongwon-gil. Turn right onto Minjugongwon-gil and continue straight for about 10 minutes. You will see Democracy Park on your left side.
