Strawberry Picking, Winter Sled with Eobi Ice Valley from Seoul

Great Tour

Highly recommended. Our overall experience was a good one. Our kids loved the strawberry picking and enjoyed the sledding. Pickup and drop off at designated locations was seamless and our tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Our only bad thing to say about this trip was that there was some miscommunication with our tickets to get to Snowyland (tube/sledding) location. Our tour guide did not mention our gondola tickets were only good to board starting at 1pm (we arrived at the resort area around 12pm). We did grab a bite to eat first and only waited outside the line for roughly 20 minutes. However, without us knowing we got in line and got into an unfavorable conversation with Vivaldi Park Staff as they wouldn’t let us on the gondola. They stated that we couldn’t get in line to board the Gondola until 1pm. The ticket did not have a boarding time and the language barrier was evident as they rudely ignored us without answering our questions. A Korean family helped us translate and they stated that a certain letter (A) on the ticket meant 1pm. We called our tour guide and inquired about the misunderstanding and he confirmed the tickets were only good for 1pm or later. Other than that, my only other recommendation is to conduct this tour on a non-weekend or holiday. The lines for sledding/tubing were crazy long and my family only got to go down no more than (3) times in roughly 2 and a half hours.

Snowy Land, Alpaca World, and Strawberry Picking from Seoul

Fun

I've always wanted to interact with alpacas so this tour was great because not only do i love alpacas but also strawberries. We had a lot of time to spend at alpaca world (home to not only alpacas) and was even encouraged to participate in the healing walk with the alpacas (additional charge) because it provided a better photo/selfie opportunity. Then after we went snow sledding down Gapyeong hills which was cool but I wish I dressed better for the occasion with gloves and winter boots because you're suppose to keep your heels down so some snow did get in my sled (on my back butt if the sled was wet from melted snow) and on my ankles (i wore wide pants). Then after we went to Yangsuri strawberry farm just in time for strawberry season to pick strawberries & make jam. The strawberries weren't fully ripe (most were still green so that was hard) but the jam making process was pretty cool just because I've never done something like that and it's actually really simple because they prepare the pre-cut strawberries in the wok for you to mush with your hand and boil. They even gave us warm bread to eat with the jam we made at the end along with a small mason jar to fill up to take home. I normally don't like jam because it's too sweet for me and artificial tasting but this one was so much lighter. Overall we had plenty of spending time at each destination; also breakfast ended up being packaged cheesecake that you would see at a convenience store & a bottle of water so I would recommend you bring a snack of your own for the bus ride if you get hungry throughout the day.
