    Start your journey by taking the Daejeon Subway Line 1 from any station. If you're near Daejeon Station, board the train towards Yuseong Spa Station. Travel for 4 stops and get off at Jang-dong Station. After exiting the station, follow the signs for 'Exit 1'.

    Once you are out of Exit 1 at Jang-dong Station, head straight along the main road for about 300 meters. You will reach a junction with a large intersection. Cross the road towards the direction of the Gyejoksan Mountain trail entrance. Follow the signs that indicate 'Gyejoksan Fortress' and continue walking for another 700 meters.

    After the 700 meters of walking, you will see the entrance to the Gyejoksan Fortress hiking trail. The trail is well-marked and will take you uphill for about 1 kilometer. The hike is relatively easy and takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Along the way, you’ll find signs providing historical information about the fortress.
