Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are already in Jung-gu, the easiest way to reach Daejeon Aquarium is by walking. Begin at the nearest subway station, which is Daejeon Station. From Daejeon Station, exit towards the main road and head west. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Bomunsangongwon-ro. Turn right and continue walking for another 500 meters. You will see the entrance to Daejeon Aquarium on your left at 469 Bomunsangongwon-ro.

  • Subway

    If you are further away, you can take the subway to get closer. Board Line 1 at any nearby station and travel to Daejeon Station. Once you arrive at Daejeon Station, exit and follow the walking directions mentioned above. The subway fare is approximately 1,300 KRW.

  • Bus

    You can also take a local bus to reach Daejeon Aquarium. Look for bus stops around Jung-gu that service routes 101, 102, or 103. Board any of these buses and get off at the Bomun Park stop. From there, Daejeon Aquarium is just a short 10-minute walk. The bus fare is typically around 1,200 KRW.
