If you are driving from the center of Gangwon Province, take the Donghae Expressway (No. 65) towards Yangyang. After about 2 hours, take the exit towards Hyeonbuk-myeon and follow the signs for Hajodae Beach. Continue on Hajodaehaean-gil road, and you will reach the beach in approximately 10 minutes. Parking is available near the beach, but there may be a small fee depending on the season.

From major cities like Sokcho or Gangneung, take an intercity bus to Yangyang. Buses depart frequently and the journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Yangyang Bus Terminal, take a local bus (Bus No. 9) towards Hajodae Beach. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Ensure to check the bus schedule for the return trip, as services may be limited in the evening.
