For those using public transportation, take a bus from major cities in Gangwon Province to Sokcho. The Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal has regular services from cities like Gangneung and Wonju. Once you arrive at Sokcho, look for local buses or taxis that head towards Seoraksan National Park. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Yukdam Falls trailhead. Make sure to have some cash ready, as public transportation may not always accept credit cards.

If you are already within proximity to Seoraksan National Park, you can hike to Yukdam Falls. From the main entrance of the park, follow the designated hiking trails which are well-marked. The hike to Yukdam Falls is approximately 3 kilometers and can take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace. Ensure you wear appropriate hiking shoes as the trails can be rocky and steep in some areas. Bring water and snacks for the hike, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
