Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to the Mt. Balwangsan Cable Car, head towards Pyeongchang-gun in Gangwon Province. Use the expressway: take the Yeongdong Expressway (Expressway 50) and exit at the 'Pyeongchang' exit. Follow the signs towards Daegwallyeong-myeon, and continue on the local roads until you reach Yongsan-ri. The cable car station is located at the end of the road. There is parking available, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  For those using public transportation, take a bus to Pyeongchang. You can catch an express bus from major cities like Seoul or Incheon. Once you arrive at Pyeongchang Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus heading towards Daegwallyeong. The local bus will take you to Yongsan-ri. After disembarking, the cable car station is a short walk away. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time as they may vary, especially on weekends.
