Public Transportation
Start at Gwangju Bus Terminal. From there, take Bus 313 or 314. These buses head towards Sajik Park. Make sure to ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach Sajik Park. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After getting off the bus, walk for about 10 minutes following the signs towards Sajik Park. The observatory is located at 49 Sajik-gil, Nam-gu.

Head to the nearest subway station, Gwangju Subway Line 1. Take the subway to the Sangmu Station. Transfer to Bus 314 or 313 at Sangmu Station. Board the bus heading towards Sajik Park. After approximately 20 minutes, alight at the Sajik Park stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to the observatory.

Walking
If you are close to the city center, you can walk to Sajik Park. Head south towards Dongmyeong-dong, then follow the signs for Sajik Park. It will take approximately 40 minutes to walk the distance of about 3 kilometers. Enjoy the scenery along the way as you approach the park.
