Start by taking the Gwangju Metro Line 1 from your current location. If you are near the city center, you can board the train at either Gwangju City Hall Station or Sangmu Station. Travel towards the direction of Seongjeong Station. Disembark at the Gwangsan Station, which is approximately 10 stops from either city center station. After exiting the station, take Exit 2.

From Gwangsan Station Exit 2, walk to the bus stop located right outside. Look for bus number 118 or 119, which will take you towards Suwan Lake Park. Board the bus and remain on it for about 5-7 stops. You will need to get off at the Jangsin-ro 82beon-gil bus stop. The park entrance will be a short walk from the bus stop.

Walking
After getting off at Jangsin-ro 82beon-gil bus stop, walk straight for about 300 meters. You will see a large entrance sign for Suwan Lake Park on your right. The park is situated at 57 Jangsin-ro 82beon-gil, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju. It should take you about 5 minutes to walk to the park entrance from the bus stop.
