If you are driving, start on the main highway that connects the Yeongnam Region to Gwangju. Use the Gwangju freeway (Gwangju Jungang Expressway) and follow the signs for Gwangju. Once you reach Gwangju, take the exit toward Buk-gu. Continue straight until you reach Haseo-ro. The Gwangju National Museum will be on your left at 110 Haseo-ro, Buk-gu, Gwangju. Make sure to check for parking availability upon your arrival.

For visitors using public transport, take a bus from your current location in the Yeongnam Region to Gwangju. Several buses operate on this route, and the journey may take approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once in Gwangju, transfer to local bus number 30 or 31. These buses will take you directly to Haseo-ro. Disembark at the stop closest to 110 Haseo-ro, Buk-gu. The museum will be within walking distance from the stop.
